Kusum Yojana For Farmers | Four Solar

A

Decentralised Solar Plants

Set up grid-connected plants (≤ 2 MW) on barren/cultivable land. Power is purchased by the State DISCOM at tariff approved by the SERC under a long-term PPA (commonly ~25 years as per model).

B

Standalone Solar Pumps

Replace diesel/unsupplied pumps with solar pumps. Typical support: 30% Central Financial Assistance (CFA) + ≥30% State subsidy; beneficiary share up to ~40% (loan possible). In special category states, CFA can be 50%.

C

Solarise Existing Pumps/Feeders

Solarise grid-connected pumps or agricultural feeders for reliable day-time power. CFA up to ~30% (50% for special states/UTs); surplus export per state policy.
